How that Holdsworth is owned by Planet-X (after a few more changes of ownership), I guess that the Freddie Grubb brand became a saleable asset.
It also means* that the new Freddiegrubb has absolutely nothing to do with the original Grubbs, and probably nothing to do with Holdsworth.
Which makes the choice of branding little more than cynical marketing, of pretty generic bikes where substance > style.
