Bullfinch Brewery which used to sit within Anspach & Hobday are opening up their own place in the Railway Arches on Rosendale Road (behind the big white building I used to live in on Norwood Road). They open on 28th August and have a collab with Marble brewery on tap. I'll see you there if you pop in, it's a good opportunity to also visit Canopy behind costcutter too.

The only thing I can remember about Antwerp is De Kulminator.

oo that is near where we are staying so will add to the list. Sounds good - grumpy old owner, lots of beer.

They weren't grumpy when I was there but I'm Aussie and Euros love Aussies.

They 'had' a pub cat, yes. But I was there in 2005 so kitty might've gone elsewhere in that time.

Had Thornbridge's Bear State, I really like their stronger IPAs. I'm off to Glasgow tomorrow, does anyone have any recommendations for places to drink?

The Boilermaker wasn't very IPA like, tasted ok tho.

Lemon Phantom going down quickly right now, looks like morning piss but tastes like fizzy pop.

Reviewed some Lidl beers. Shockingly the 90p beer is actually drinkable.

I had that the other day, bit weak but not bad at all for 90p.

Good review. I'm always interested to know the source brewery, so good detective work on the 90p one. Free glass bottle too!

I've had a few 99p Berliner Kindl recently. Inoffensive.
