Some nice projects here :)
"I think at the beginning of this thread I said I would build three bikes this year" How do you know how many bikes you are going to build in a year?! You never know what kind of bargain you can find!Sounds like a good(and expensive) program for the Brooklyn. I like this green color. I will follow your build :)
Just for information, what's the size of your Duratec? -
• #132
Mateee, you should see how many frames @Antidotes stashes underneath his bed.

@Francium87 cheers bro, haha yea I kind of had an idea of what I wanted/needed at the beginning of the year, basically a stable overhaul. New dry weather commuter/fast bike, new wet weather/winter commuter/fast bike and a Sunday best/long distance fixed cruiser. Now I'm selling the Duratec I won't have a fast bike any more but yeah lol.
@Francium87 @Ok123 the Duratec is near enough a 52 track champ, I'm 5'8, 110mm stem and it fits like a glove. I'll get the exact measurements up tomorrow morning as I'm out on the lash tonight and probably wont be making any sense by 7pm.
@timbre lol I know man. Bars for the Brooklyn are getting dropped of at PS this weekend! So I'll have it rolling THIS Sunday! Probably...
@monkdagola would rep

So the Sprinter Brotherhood loses a member.
sad times.
'tis a rad build tho and they're great bikes - really nicely made
@Ok123 & @Francium87 - one of you should go for it! -
• #138
think it's gonna be too small :(
but will await measurements -
• #139
How tall are you? (You're like 5'10/11, right?)
-
• #140
Good size, but not the right time for me. I cannot buy a new bike for the moment, and the next one is supposed to be a road :) I already have a Nelson for the same kind of usage.

@Rik_Van_Looy Ahh I know dude :( I'm going try to make sure the Duratec stays on the forum.
@Ok123 @Francium87 Hey guys, the measurements are as follows: Seat Tube CTT is 56cm, Top Tube CTC is 53cm. The centre of the top tube to the top of the seat tube is 10cm and the head tube is 10.2cm giving the frame it's pursuit geo.

-
• #145
Fuck yeah that is so rad
-
• #146
Wicked! I love the colour, combined with the ellipse logos it is very John Deere.

• #148
I'm going to have a lot of fun on this bike.
O'rly? Not when it rains .. :)))

Fiiiiiiiiiiiit!
The famous British weather was being pretty famous in London's famous London today so I finally finished ordering the last bits I need for the TK pro, drops, bb/converter and brake hoods should all be here by next week. I hope to have it rolling by the end of the month!
But in the meantime I'm really itching to get my last frame built before the summer is out, my new Sunday best, a Brooklyn Gangsta V2. The plan is to have it built by next Friday night so I can ride it next Saturday but there is a catch...
The final build plan will a be silver Sram Omnium crank set, silver Paul Components track hubs laced via silver sapims to grey TB14's. Easton stem/riser combo for cruising and 3T stem/drop combo for long distance. Not really sure what saddle at the moment but I've got stuff lying around to have it rolling by next Saturday (fingers crossed).
The catch is that I will be taking the Omnoms off of the Duratec, I'll also be taking the Ellipses as well for the time being as the Paul/TB14 wheelset wont be built for weeks.
All in all I'll probably be selling the Duratec :/ so if anyone wants provisional dibs then let me know.
