  • Are you all basically finished with the exams then?

  • 5 more to go, wbu?

  • only the chemistry paper 2 on tuesday. Don't do history so am feeling pretty chill so far.
    What are your 5?

  • Yup! As of this Friday i am done n dusted with all 9 exams! Time to party*!

*mainly Netflix n sleeping at 4am

@Full_Metal_Sprocket WHOAAAA, 5? Shiiid lèl, good luck

  • Ive got maths2 geography3 and then media and chem the day after my brothers wedding followed by graphics, no bueno

  • All doonneee!!!!!

  • Results?

  • Lel,i'm picking mine up this afternoon

  • Ooh nervous?

Got emailed half of the GCSEs this morning. Woke up to a hum of vibrations as Facebook burst into life.

  • Meh, surprisingly I'm less nervous this year than i was last year. Your results day is next week?

  • We got five of them today; ad maths, bio, phys and both englishes.

Yeah I was pretty nervous all the days leading up, refused to talk about it, but this morning, after seeing what some other people got, I was a lot less afraid.

Still got the rest to come including French and geo.

  • got my AS results this morning, content

  • Yeah just got my results for AS, meh coulda been worse/better , atleast i can move onto A2 comfortably

  • What did you get?

  • What exams did u take?

  • Didnt get more than 2 gcse's a few years back boss :-( a levels didnt even happen for me :'-(

  • Anyone?

  • My last A LEVEL EXAM I'LL EVER HAVE TO SIT FOREVER on Tuesday. Has been a rough week and a half. Wbu?

A2 has been lol; a task but nearly finished :D

  • Ha, Good luck. Thought they would have finished. What is it?

Finished on Friday with C4. Maths spread over 6 weeks was a pain, hard to keep caring. And M2, right at the beginning, set the depth of penetration for which OCR royally fucked us.

Got our predicted grades back and they looked noice.

  • Physics, went alright tbf, physics usually has generous grade boundaries; around 70% for A, so fingers crossed.

How does this new A level stuff work then?

  • Maths remained unreformed. So just like normal.
And I do Pre-U physics and chemistry so only have external exams for them next year (U6th) so I don't really know.
Predictives were based on internals (I'm L6th)

Generous grade boundaries are just the best thing. Good times then if phys was good...

  • How was results day?

  • Pretty good for me,
Bagged the A* in single math averaging 97ish UMS (including M2 (further maths) which I'll be retaking) so well on track.

Really surprised tbh, thought I'd royally fucked up.

Personal statement will be a bitch seeing as I haven't really started yet.

    You?

  • v nice man, this yr's results day definitely beats last years. came out with AAB in the end, highlight was 100ums in C2 (retake ;) ) and 98 UMS in M1.

I wouldnt get too hung up about personal statements tbh, uni's i think care more about predicted grades but i think you'll be fine with that
