That + Araya Trispoke and Disc = Perfect Slave (with different saddle from Zonc (personal choice)).

This one is pretty hard to beat:

That horrible Lightweight font tho....desticker! Maybe the whole thing, stealth it up

I can't stand the part where the seatpost is clamped in the frame. Perhaps very functional just looks so badly designed.

umadbro?

almost this

• #46684
Needs sugino 75 carbon seatpost really
-
• #46685
Not at all. Look at the seatpost of the picture kenzo posted. That would look so much better on the kalavinka frame.

Lol. That photo is taken in the dark, you can't see anything. All I can see is that it looks like it needs proper foot retention and the rider is a T-Rex. :)
The BT seatpost is probably very expensive to replace if it slips/breaks. The Kalavinka post will be a standard size giving you a good choice of posts to choose from if you need to. The two wedges around the round post are probably more secure than whatever solution the BT uses as well.
The Kalavinka one is no way near as bad you are making out. Both frames are great.

Same bike in a previous life...

I will get a Kalavinka one day, amazing frames.

The only thing I'm saying is that I don't like a regular style round seatpost in a frame where the part where the seatpost is mounted looks like that. It would look a lot better if it has an aero seatpost to match the frame. Sure it's easier to have a standard choice, but in a frame like that it looks off. I even like the rest of the frame. Just not that part. The bike is probably more then epic to ride on. The design is probably the most functional there is and the most logical choice, I just don't like that specific part of the entire bike. And only that. It's just the type of seatpost.
Just hammer (by lack of other words) something like this in that frame and it's epic:

Just build a sleeve for the seatpost out of carbon... simple

• #46691
Just did a very brief image search to see if anyone had put one of those fugly 27.2>aero posts in a Kalavinka and discovered that y'all had this exact same debate three years ago...

new fork on my rychtarski

Actual 10/10
How are finding the SMP?
-
• #46694
composit is 9/10. Dynamic probably would be 10/10.

• #46695
More rake? What happened to the previous?
-
• #46696
a bit more rake yes. Wanted a bit more rake and ahead so went ahead and bought a new ahead fork from the same builder
-
• #46697
Very good.
Toptube protector is for show? Or are the bars so wide they touch at that point.
-
• #46698
this is the best kalavinka out there imo
-
• #46699
Not trying to be an ass, but that build is a mess in my opinion.
