  • Went to Evans West End today to have a look at their gloss black with green accents SuperSix Evo 105 5800. Looks good in person. Tempted to buy, and sell everything apart from the frame and fork. 50+ in the warehouse in my size apparently.

  • If I was you the only thing I'd do is swap tyres and crankset. Get BB30 checked over by a good shop. 5800 is plenty good.

  • The only way you can 'check' bb30, short of any crank installation howlers, is by removing and fitting new bearings. Best to ride it until problems occur then get new quality bearings installed.

  • If I get that and swap parts or a CAAD10 frame, it'll be Ultegra, Zondas, and some parts I have from the previous build. The SuperSix as it is above is heavy. The frame deserves better / lighter kit.

  • Chainset is fine, best to just take it apart, give it a good clean, greased, and installed as per the manufacturer specification.
