Mavic 3G 700c trispoke - Front OR Rear

Selling this for a friend. 9/10 condition and very rare. Few made in 700c and front wheel. Only a few small scratches to the decals and no damage whatsoever. Bearings are excellent and runs completely true.

The hub on these wheels can be removed and replaced with a rear hub. This allows you to use a screw on block for gears or use a Surly Fixxer for fixed gear. This replacement hub will be included in the cost.

The tub in the photos is included however is not currently glued. This can be done professionally at a small cost if needed be. The rim is completely clean of glue and so I can discount some money from the wheel if the tub is not needed.

Pickup is anywhere in London and postage will not be considered.

The cost is £650. Any offers below this will not be accepted as it is not in a hurry so be sold.

No offence but your better of trying on ebay.. they are not worth that much, maybe for the pair yes but its not even nos with box

Unused nos maybe. Ive seen them go much cheaper on here, ebay etc.

Front is 250£ in really good shape

£280 as it comes with both axles???

One sold on eBay for £150 with both axles (might be an older model though)

Personally I believe the price is fair given the excellent condition and how sought after these wheels are. I doubt NOS wheels of this type of 3G even exist any more (cheap ones on eBay are all the old/less desirable type).

As much as you think its overpriced, there are people that will pay this much for something this rare :)

NOS do exist and typically fetch £300/£350 if i remember correctly...

If your mate wants that much they should keep it. A price you want is not one you'll get
