After installing 35c tyres there is no space for mudguards with Tektro 926AL Mini V. There is about half cm space.
I want to avoid cantis if I can. I went to condor to check the clearances with TRP CX 8.4 and 9 which have 85mm and 90mm clearances versus 80mm on my current brakes. Took few pics; they are both 35c knobby CX tyres and looks like there is plenty of space with both.
I don't want to spend TRP money and on paper Tektro RX6 (£30 less than 8.4 at condor) look good with 90mm arms; anything else I should be looking at? I need to pair them with Tektro RL340 levers. Frame is All City Nature boy and EC70X forks.
R463 look good esp with cartridge style pad etc. Same price as Tektro RX6 though .. any reason to chose one over other? Google says they are 'flat bar v brakes' will they work with the road levers?
