I haven't heard back from the first dibs chap who promised to view the bike this evening. Seeing as there's a fair bit of interest in the bike, if I don't hear from him before 6pm then the next in line can take his place.

Without getting into a discussion, buyer's actual reason for above 'faulty BB' comment is per this chap's tedious behaviour of feeling slighted after my criticising a comment he made during the run-up to the sale, and then choosing to sneak in the neg rep in his above pleased/disappointed verdict on the bike, as though he could realistically be oblivious that this counted as a neg rep:) And- of course- conspicuously choosing not to achnowledge a standard/across the board forum/eBay etiquette that directs buyers to contact buyers to resolve any issues before any neg rep (disguised, or undisguised...) is left...

esp. that a HT2 BB costs.. 9-10 quids.. :D a bartape can be haz for cheapo at planet-x.
sooo, it'll set back the buyer with approx. 20 GBP. that's a shame! :D 10 bottles of cheap 0.5litre vodka..

Er... I have to say that anyone reading my above comment could hardly fail to see that the actual condition of the BB is irrelevant in these particular circumstances...

These are pretty rare/sought after bikes, and have to be bought on the internet from Germany, where Canyon are based.
The f*ck! They were rare in 2010 but these days, with two worldtour teams riding them, I need to find something more niche.
Also Canyon saw it fit to turn this frame into a flat-bar 'exercise' bike rather than include it in their road range in 2015. That said a friend of mine runs this with an SRM, Dura Ace wheels etc. as his racing bike.
Up for sale is my Canyon Roadlite 2013 bike. Groupset is Shimano 105, 5700 series. The frame is size XL/60cm (virtual) which would fit riders of 5'10 to 6'+. The frame is the compact type and helpful info on sizing/virtual seat tube length is included on the Canyon site. I've priced the bike at £300. RRP is £900 for Canyon's model this year- eBay shows a good few examples selling for £500, but Evilbay isn't really my thing, and the price also reflects a no longer mint condition as well as the fact that the bike's original Aksium wheels were replaced with a (slightly) inferior Planet X set. These are pretty rare/sought after bikes, and have to be bought on the internet from Germany, where Canyon are based.
Quite a few of the original finishing kit parts have been upgraded- the saddle is now a Fizik Arione. The stem is an ITM Vista, and seatpost is a Specialized Carbon Fact, both carbon parts. Forks have been replaced by a Condor Nero Forza 5, and whilst fitting this I swapped the headset for a Condor one with carbon crown/external part which complements the fork nicely:) And seriously light(!) wheels have replaced the Mavic Aksium wheelset- a Planet X Superlight set. Tyres are Schwalbe Ultremo. I've also changed the cassette for a MARS one. There's one issue to mention re the groupset- the drivetrain is the triple kind, but I managed to wrench the cable and damage the triple STI lever, and its subsequent replacement happens to be a (my preferred) double one- so the bike now only works for double operation. Naturally, a triple lever can be put back on if you were inclined, and so make use of the triple parts still present.
The bike has seen a fair few road miles with me but has been well looked after and maintained with all bearings regreased after a recent service. All parts show minimum wear, as many parts replaced over time including the wheels which have rims showing minimum brake wear.
The reason for sale is that the frame is simply too large for me. I am inclined to ride frames that are considered too big for a person of my height, but after using a shorter stem and inline seatpost I have had to accept that ultimately it won't work:) Still, I've enjoyed my time with the bike, it is scary light for a bike this size, and the excellent German designed frame makes for a nicely responsive ride, especially for sprinting. There are a couple of light scuffs and tiny chips to the frame- but these have been carefully touched up to leave what is still v presentable paintwork on the bike. The seatpost does show a good number of insertion scratches though.
Collection from Camberwell (SE5) or can post at cost. A forum donation will be made if I sell it on the site.
