You and I know the 2016 model (particularly the high end one) usually pop in a lots later because we're not that important.
Unfortunately I don't work in a bike shop that sell bicycles, so I have no idea what the 2016 ETA is, but I can pose a wild guess that it definitely not that soon.

Can't you pick one up from the States next time you are out there?
-
• #2429
Mid October, so dunno?
-

Most of the ETAs are September to November for the cheaper synapse carbons and supersix, but if last year is anything to go by they won't turn up in sizeable numbers until late '15/early '16 or later

Given the amount of instagram-hype I reckon slates will be rocking around out there by then

Most Specialized and Trek 2016 is looking to be delivered late September - late October depending on models, but their ETA and ATA are two very different things

I do know that, having customer switching from Cannondale to Trek because of the abnormally long wait for the new model is always a thing at the old shop.

On their website Evans are claiming to have CAAD12s available by the end of August, is this just wrong?
-
• #2435
Exactly, happen to the year before too.
-
• #2436
I wouldn't put money on it
Evans website has been jokes for at least the last day or so. Much http error, so 500, wow

Claim being the operative word.
Plus they managed to acquired them not through CSG.

Hah that's cool. Who from?
-
• #2439
Hhhmmm this is putting me in an awkward situation of, finally having money, but not being able to buy this years model (no CAAD10s in my size anywhere) and not being able to buy next years model either...
-
• #2440
Yep you are stuffed unless you buy used or take a trip to the US etc.

Some here:

Honestly have no idea, but they did managed to get some US-only model that cannot be acquired from CSG (such as the Synapse Adventure Disc).

They seem to have some exclusives (paint scheme) like this SSE 105:

If you're desperate, the Rose Xeon RS is probably as good as the CAAD10. It also has super fancy internal routing and is still black as midnightttt.

Those are some attractive prices, anyone had a whole bike shipped from Germany before?
I have to be honest as well I was hoping to be able to use either cycle scheme or some kind of 0% finance deal to spread the cost a bit, so a little bit timid about ordering from overseas.
@ChrisMGS That SSE is relatively tempting but it's not as high specced as the standard 105 SSE (brakes etc) and I have kind of had my heart set on a CAAD for a while.
Full disclosure: this is my finished uni, started a career want to buy a nice bike, bike.

I took the new toy out for a ride today, was very happy with it.
The handlebars felt a little too high, so may need to lower them. It felt responsive and the electronic shifting was really satisfying. Am interested to see how much changes when the aero crabon tubeless wheels arrive.
My gooch is not a fan of the Fabric Spoon saddle, so will need to swap it out.

Yeah started work and I've got the cycle scheme code.
I was planning on non-disc tbh and a 56.
I think taking my time is the most sensible advice really and probably waiting for a CAAD12 and using cycle scheme would be the best option.
Just been planning and scheming for months and it's frustrating no one having stock now!

@C88
Triton still have the 105 variant.

Pfffffft
When you reckon, Ed? Assume some of the more esoteric road and mtb stuff won't get here for a while yet, if at all.
I'd quite like a ride on the crabonz Habit you see.
