If people had their own SPOT trackers (I know a few Audaxers like to do this to keep the people at home happy) then they just needed to give TCR the magic number to have it added to the Trackleaders site.
Otherwise it's a relatively easy way to purchase one as the deposit (the normal RRP) is kept by TCR and the rider keeps the device.
