  • So simple, so nice...

    Good work!

  • ^ Yep needs kashimax five gold...

  • update time...goodbye Miche, hello DA

    some polished TB14's...

and a little bit o' Veloflex thrown in for good measure

    SOON...

  • Finally!!!

  • new wheels on, DA & h+son...try as I might, I just can't get my head around having gumwalls, so veloflex out, and old faithful gp4000/refuse combo in...nice and wide on the tb14 rims

    and kashimax tt protector

  • Gum walls would set that off proper

  • they were on there for a day and just looked wrong to me, and the ride was harsh with the skinnier tyres.
the current combo measures 25mm for a 23 conti gp, and 26.5mm for the 25 re-fuse, and I have more faith in the re-fuse on the harsh roads

  • Amaze, much harmony, very plush, such proper

  • sunny day...shitty phone pic

  • sick bike! love it!

  • back in NZ...spring in shakytown

  • Just need Kashimax now.

  • bit of a thread dredge, but added road drops to the Bridgestone and so far so good
seems comfortable enough, but need to go on a longer ride to be sure

  • Always loved this bike.

Silver is the only way a non colourful njs frame can look that good.

  • Stem craves slammage.

Very nice frame and bike. Loving the all silver. I want an all silver bike as well.

What bars are those? Deda Piega?

  • yeah @Tijs, Deda Piega bars on a non njs 26mm Pearl 9.
bars are at a comfy height, not sure about slammage...form over function??

  • How did you get the bars through the stem? I have the same bars but cant seem to get them through any quill stems like your one..

  • looks good, wouldn't slam!

  • Unscrew the clamp bolt so it comes out of the far side of the clamp entirely, then put a coin in the opening between the clamp and screw the bolt back so it touches the coin in between the clamp. Now when you tighten the bolt, it pushes against the coin and opens the clamp further. Don't push it too much though. You can also use some soap/grease on the bars to make them a little slippier. That's how I did it with my compact bars and quill.

  • Remove the bolt and insert the shaft (not a euph) of a screwdriver and gently open the clamp as you slide past the curve

  • Lovely work throughout - How much was the frame on ebay?

  • F&F were £350 ($700AUD)...total build (as it currently stands) came in at £704ish
