should the cars have been driving within those riders like that on that descent? i believe on both lanes (changing lanes with cyclists in short distance, etc) i dont know what the car/moto protocol is during these races. ah shit, i just watched a replay of the incident and damn. that impact. not to mention the cyclists after that just now.

As far as I can tell the car was doing its best to stay out of the way and it was purely rider error.

Why were those cars between the riders on the descent?

LFGSS I am disappoint. In 3 hours no one has picked up me or Herr Schick for the car / driver thing.
