Caleb Ewan in the first stage of Tour of Poland. Cheeky bugger! So close too. Next time, Gadget next time.
-
• #3953
Have you seen Stage 2's finish yet?
-
• #3954
Watching it now. Missus is complaining they're sending the race to all the shitty industrial areas of Poland and not the pretty places.
-
• #3955
Fuck. Lampre cunts.

Epic skidz!

Modolo cuts over on his front wheel. He had nowhere to go.
-
• #3959
Shouldn't be overlapping then, should he.
-
• #3960
I like the Sky rider towards the end who brakes so hard and suddenly that he falls off.
-

Modolo moved up and across sharply. He should be relegated.
The IAM bloke who won after he moved over and bounced Kitell could also be relegated - Cav has been for less.

US cycling promoters telling Chris Horner to fuck right off again is never not funny

From the writings of the riders on the domestic scene and the actions of the promoters it seems like they've just had enough. Seems more like weariness and fatigue rather than lashing out in anger. They no longer tolerate the toxicity. Wish Europe would follow suit.

Selecting the Israeli development team instead is trolling of the highest order.

And his indignant rage makes it all the better.
"But I'm the only active US GT winner! And I'm really old! And and and no one ever caught me doing ANYTHING" -

If Horner's stupid Porsche team car hadn't cut the corner Matt Brammeier might not be in hospital, although he really did get that corner so wrong.

• #3968
should the cars have been driving within those riders like that on that descent? i believe on both lanes (changing lanes with cyclists in short distance, etc) i dont know what the car/moto protocol is during these races. ah shit, i just watched a replay of the incident and damn. that impact. not to mention the cyclists after that just now.
-
• #3969
Man, I just saw that. Ouch. He was storming into that corner.

Here's the vid, it's a bit gratuitous, fair warning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRM3bFXlyNk
As far as I can tell the car was doing its best to stay out of the way and it was purely rider error.
-
• #3971
Jeez. I saw that from a different angle earlier, that's some impact. He's damn lucky to be alive after that.
-
• #3972
Why were those cars between the riders on the descent?
-
• #3973
LFGSS I am disappoint. In 3 hours no one has picked up me or Herr Schick for the car / driver thing.

Eneco.
