The frame is plenty aero enough, why not spend the money on a (better) metal worker cutting out and tig'in in some sheet alu dropouts?

any welds now will worsen the rear, frame has been drilled already, there is no going back, all hands on deck

as for #teamweld or #weldaweld or w- I am sure once I have recovered from this project, I will probably have the idiocy/audacity (funny how similar those two words sound) to try to braze/weld together my own frame like a big boy, but that deserves a separate project... for now:

Might be a continuation of this project... Once your current rear triangle explodes you'll have to weld a new one on.
