  • If you need 32, I'd suggest the Mavic A rims, matter of fact I may have a set I can sell to you (ambrosio hubs, CX Ray, a719), need to get the 11spd freehub body thought.

That's the front wheel on my bike in the previous pages.

  • That is kind of you. A719 seems a bit heavy at 565 grams compared to the DT R460 at 460 grams.
And I really like the profile of the DTs as well. Looks hot.

I am thinking 5800 hubs, rev or comp spokes and DT R460.

Edit: The extra width of A719 is appealing though. And it seems like the french botique only has one rim in stock, and it becomes more expensive when you choose shipping to UK.

  • The A719 is also very stiff which will reduced the chance of the tyres rubbing against the frame too.

Weight isn't noticable really, decent tyres make the biggest difference, the full wheel build come under 1800g which isn't bad compared to says, Mavic Askium.

  • The extra width of A719

What's the internal width of the A719? I know the outside is a lot wider but as its a touring rim I'd guess the side walls are quite thick, so I wonder what the difference between the internal width is.
