I've had hundreds of aggressive interactions with drivers, shouted, sworn, broken bits of their cars and it achieved sweet fuck all except momentarily bolstering my ego. I'll probably shout at a driver in future tbh but I will accept, after the fact, that I was acting like a dick
Exactly this. I think more cyclists need to look at their own overreactions and consider if they really achieve anything.
