My father-sort-of-in-law has loved and ridden his Brompton for the best part of ten years, but eventually time (and a design flaw) caught up with him in dramatic fashion. The chain stay bridge on the rear frame has rusted through and gave way suddenly, which came as something of a shock. So, I'm in the process of helping to get a new one, so the rest of the bike has to go. It is in cosmetically pretty good condition, and just need a replacement rear frame (easy to get hold of, I'm told). I simply haven't the time to do the work, hence the sale. So, if you fancy a little project and a Brompton on the cheap, now's your chance.
£200 sounds fair to me - come get it! Oh, and forgive the terrible photo - will grab a better one soon!
