Isle of Grain - 60% traffic-free

So. Many. Punctures. But a great day, thanks for the ride :)

Boldly going where drivers failed. :)

We rode through a field near Woolich where some prick had dumped a box of tacks.
45 minutes and around 19 punctures later we were on our way (always carry patches and glue).
No rider with Marathon Pluses was affected (4 tacks in my front wheel and 3 in the back).
Pleasant enough stop by the river never the less.

After Erith the ride was perfect, such a great day and scenery. We returned to Charlton station just in time for RHC final and party.

Those drivers were lucky to fail and avoid the next field. There was a track that was covered with thumb tacks. Lead to the many punctures

if you have to fix numerous punctures it is more fun to do in a group =P there was a certain comedy element

Thanks for a really great day out. Good enough to ride through a field of drawings pins for - punctures and sunburn such a small price to pay! Isle of Grain is weird and wonderful.
