Gotta also take notes from the scythed chariot for your wheel builds especially when thinking about which hubs to get.
-
• #253
Based on the work you did on the dropouts, I would say a, b, c and any other ideas you have to further mutilate the frame are no goers.

This has got to be most interesting and lol CP thread I've seen in ages.
Option C!
-
• #255
Option A! The others leave no room for your bidons for those long distance tts!
-
• #256
Option a minus the tt/st gusset
-
• #257
Fuck it mate, go B
-

You could always fill in the whole of the front triangle for supah aeroz. Couple of sheets of ply, nail them into place, bit of Polyfilla round the edges, job done.

Red tyres?
YOU BASTARD
-
• #260
After V.2.0 and eventual suicide you get V.3.0 provided you paint it white to show up the blood
-
• #261
You really hate that don't you.
-
• #262
yeah, tbh I always seem to have ridiculous coloured tyres - they just seem to be cheaper... I wonder why???
Since I know you want to match mine, they are actually on sale (83% off - does that even mean anything?!) at PX again. Luckily I have rid the world of the scourge of the red ones, by buying the last few I guess, so you will have to get the blue ones now, but for less than a fiver, you could do worse... -
• #263
Hold up, to relieve stress on the hacked drop outs you drilled holes through the seat stays?
So now there's even more stress points on the frame? No whip skids please. Unless you want a seat stay to fold...? -
• #264
yeah, tbh it wasn't what I was expecting from Tom the metalworking guy - I think this may have to be SS only - which I think is probably for the best as I don't want to put any extra stress/pressure on the spinergy on the rear anyways.
-
• #265
Ok, glad you're aware. It may well hold up but dunno if the risk is worth it. Sorry if my post came across as a bit snide, there was some real concern in my words. Haha.
-
• #266
Ain't no thang... I didn't even think it was snide - I mean most people are suggesting I am a suicidal maniac who should paint my bike with my blood...
;) -
• #267
Option A minus the tt/st gusset
Do this
-
• #268
Why no tt/st gusset? - seems to be pretty standard in most of what I see in the Aero appreciation thread
-
• #269
I'm going for P.
...But I'll be back for more looools in a mo....
-
• #270
As you're keeping it SS, be aware that the ST-Seat stays gussets may interfere with the rear brake caliper installation/removal!

Can It Be All So Simple?

Flows counter to everything else, only looks good on skinny tube lo pros.
if look doesnt need one neither do you
-
• #273
Another death wheel option for you.
-
• #274
damn, you persistent... I hope WI has you on the payroll for all the advertising you do for them...
-
• #275
Why is that LOOK rear disc so far away from the seat tube, doesn't that negate the benefit of aeroz?
A for sure. Maybe they need to be made out of something flammable though, or razors. Make them out of razors.
