Hold up, to relieve stress on the hacked drop outs you drilled holes through the seat stays?
So now there's even more stress points on the frame? No whip skids please. Unless you want a seat stay to fold...?

yeah, tbh it wasn't what I was expecting from Tom the metalworking guy - I think this may have to be SS only - which I think is probably for the best as I don't want to put any extra stress/pressure on the spinergy on the rear anyways.

Ok, glad you're aware. It may well hold up but dunno if the risk is worth it. Sorry if my post came across as a bit snide, there was some real concern in my words. Haha.
