paging @adroit - where do you recommend for swimming on the Thames. I fancy a ride to Clifton Hampden -but have been told 'no hills'. DO you (or others) know what Hurley Island is like?

Its a bit of the Thames I have spent many hours trying mot ro swim in (tho I have capsized once just north of there). It looks amazing, though wonder if it is a little my abilities - I could do it with my trusty sort of breaststroke but my crawl will take me all of about 5 meters. You doing it?
