So I'm just wondering, what are some basics to keep in mind, and what if other riders join me on the track, what are common courtseys to other riders?
Keep Pedalling
Turn Left
Look over your right shoulder before you move up
Look over your left shoulder before you move down
Try not to snot or chunder on the track
Have fun.
Well it seems I logged in with the wrong email as this is not my usual user nameā¦
With that aside, Im looking to take the misses and me to my local velodrome outside of town and I'm just absolutely not sure what to expect mates. It's an outdoors open track layout available for anyone to ride. The banks are not very impressive and i imagine I could maybe have a solo session if I show up early enough i.e. not gated.

Ill be riding a pursuit bike oddly enough with my current gear ratio at 49/19 But considering swapping rear wheels for 49/16. I don't think there is going to be much concern about regulations, I think a lot of different bikes ride on the track when its not in an event.
Im really just looking to see how fast I can go on her and what feels comfortable, so please don't see it for more than what it I'm trying to do haha.
