We sell a lots of R501 to fat and lazy cunts, so you'll be fine.
But seriously, if you search this thread lots of people recommend the R501 and say they are bomb proof. So the extra spokes on the C30 should do the job. Plus I'm pretty sure they're j-bend so should be easy to replace.
At that weight I'd still rather have some over built hand builts just as they're easier to repair yourself and going 36h should mean they'll keep running even with a couple of bust spokes. But then I like building wheels IRL and planning wheelbuilds. The R501 would be cheaper and look cooler.
