they stretch if you wedge an 8mm fairly enthusiastically up between the holes. I've just done it with a Pearl 6.

It was attached to some deda piegas? Im sure with some light effort its possible :-)

Yep i managed to get it through the bend but the clamp area had me like bitchhhh. Lol
