• Nice one H

Never realised the clearences were so tight.
    Same comments re the bars.

  • I appreciate all the kind words people! :-D

Re. Bars have been tilted down slightly and now level. Clearances are not the tightest but 50x16 leaves it as far in the ends as possible with a bit of space for adjusting tension.

@IR Trust me, I will be there reppin hard.. Maybe bring out the cinelli aero helmet for lelz?

  • Went down for the induction at HH today and got the obligatory photo in front of the wall. Was super fun and cant wait for next week. Banks dont seem that steep from the stands but when your riding your pleasantly suprised -

  • effin awesome!

@Agustin - no tendra algunos tubos como la gente guardados por ahi?

  • oof, beautiful. That's all I can say really..

  • Supongo, aunque en cantidades y variedades limitadas.. ;)

  • Awesome. Favourite forum project ever.

  • Are you still gonna be looking for the toe clips and stem?

As it stands still defo a Todos Zues build.

  • @hma - Gracias hermano! un saludo grande desde Londres :-)

@Thrasher - Thank you! :-) All them late nights searching the web, help from forum and other people made it all worthwhile.

@HHC - Toe clips were christophe according to the complete builds part list in the catalogues. But found the Ducson ones are spanish so they trumped christophe in this situation. Time for the lo pro build now eh? ;-)

  • Good job H! Saw it on the gram, been out of touch for a bit, never realised you'd finished! Looks so rad!

  • That stem looks great. Who is your polisher as I have a few pieces that could benefit from a buff?!?

  • Time for the lo pro build now eh? ;-)

    God yes.

  • This is so perfect. Love the real long term builds like this and @tomsvoboda 's 3Rensho that don't get assembled until every exact perfect component is sourced.

  • @Husy - Thanks bro, been a long time coming and could still be upgraded a bit more. Got my eyes on a nicer Zeus seatpost with the allen key bolt clamp which would be so much easier to use. Maybe replace the headset and bb at some point.. but thats all in the far future.

@umop3pisdn - Thank you! Im very excited for his project to come to a finish, will be amazing once done

  • Now that this is basically finished its time to move on and work on something a lil bit different but still within the same field.. Behold the apparent Zeus 'Lava Lo-Pro' -

Everything french threaded again and sizes. 22mm fork steerer and 26.4seatpost. Im not 100% sure its a Zeus though, this is due to what I think are gipiemme dropouts, ive done a lot of research and am more inclined to think its a Razesa (the framebuilder of the upper end Zeus frames). But Zeus did brand/make some lo-pros according to some photos in Rouleur ..

So first things first I removed the nasty incorrect decals and have gathered photos and decal scans of some of the ones featured in the above photos. Im thinking just to have decals on the downtube or coming down the centre of the seat tube for something a bit different. Colour wise maybe white and silver or something like this -

Build plans are to build as spanish or hhsb as possible but with maybe two cockpits, 3ttt Mosers for sprints and full Mavic TT set up for spins around the velopark/late night regents park. This prob wont be such a long project maybe but I think still will be interesting how it turns out.

  • I might have some 3ttt track bars come to think of it, or rather the Crit type ones, i.e. a bit track/road combo if you're interested...

  • Dear god, just seen your final build too, bloody good work.

  • Yo chris, I asume they are the modern versions? Im after some of the older ones, competizione pista. Lemme know :-) -

  • I think they are the old versions.. with engravings... not the big 3TTT logo... not Pista though, the near Pista.

Or maybe they are? Let me dig them out...

  • Is there a thread that details how to get a lava DIY paint job that looks that good, not like the 1991 GT karakoram

  • Sounds promising, some photos when you can would be good please

  • No threads that I am aware of but check https://instagram.com/colecoatingsworkshop/

Its called crackle effect, vreeble or lava paint in this case. im sure if you use google you can find more links. I have attached a couple similar examples of spanish bikes but they rubbish photos tbh..

  • Cheers - I will have a hunt around

5* build - you have to raise the bar (somehow) with the lo pro

  • @chrisbmx116 - Ah im after the track versions and those seem a bit boxy. Thanks for offering though!

@conquistador - Im thinking two set ups, standard hhsb doublediscin' around and maybe something a bit more classic and formal.

Ive got the 3ttt set up sorted for the formal set up, Zeus stem and Moser bars to some matching Silva tape as usual. Also got some Wolber clincher rims that could look the part laced to some zeus hubs?

For the HHSB side, Mavic full TT set up, 38cm ctc base bars and matching aero extensions but not sure what stem. Aesthetics is key though, in terms of double discs I dunno if the logos on the hed will match the frame and future decals. Would have to be something more european, corima, wobler or silva? Lets see how it goes though.. Will be hard to raise the levels for sure!
