• Braking on carbon is fine.

    Chris King hubs are absolutely bombproof, getting them wet is going to make fuck all difference. I'd pick CK hubs for a winter wheelset over a summer build.

  • Probably will get a shallower wheelset for purely climbing (maybe the enve 2:2), but in term of riding in the wet, I rather keep this bike in the dry for the sake of keeping it brand new-like and maintenance to a minimum (unlike my previous crackyon bike where I practically used it as my everyday bike and ruined every components on a daily bases).

  • So what exactly is it for? If you're not riding it in the wet, not racing it, and keeping it for sunday best, that's a lot of bike for about 10 weekends a year...
