My grandad got hold of a classic steel frame at the last cycle jumble for the grand sum of five pounds. It was in a poor state and he stripped the frame, rubbed it down and had it resprayed. I spent a day in his garden lining the lugs for him to make it stand out to any potential buyers.
Unfortunately he passed away a couple of weeks ago - the frame has landed with me and I intend to get it built up and get it looking smart!
It has potential: we think it's late 80's. It has 130mm rear triangle spacing so can take a relatively modern groupset.
