Forks are unpainted and they need at least a clear coat, and I am thinking that it would look more ordinary/cheap with black forks. But I will consider it for sure. Now I just need to get some quotes from the painters. But none of them really seem to be online... So will probably start out by calling them when I arrive in the UK.
Also, I have asked Talbot (coldharbour) to ream my head tube,but he hasn't answered yet. Any suggestions to frame builders around Wood Green who might have a tool for 44mm head tube?

ask @CleverMike he's pretty stocked up on tools, hes done reeming for me before so he may well have the tool for that. http://www.clevermike.co.uk/

Great to see this built, looks like a mighty neat job. Looking at the mockup without the chain-stays, and black seatpost / stem, have you considered leaving the forks black, maybe get some vinyl decals cut in the same colour as the frame. Think it might make the frame stand out more, and give more options for painting ?
