• Hi,

Hoping someone can offer some tyre sizing help to a newbie...

I've just ordered this replacement rear wheel for my Analog NS:
    http://v-sprint.com/product/track-wheels/custom-hand-built-track-wheels-quando/

My previous rear tyre which also needs replacing was a Resist Nomad 700c x 45c and I've been trying to work out what tyres I can get for the new v-sprint wheel.

I'm happy to go a bit thinner than 45c but have been struggling to work out what the maximum width I can use on the wheel is. It says 700c x 18c – 23c in the spec but does that mean I can use 18c to 23c tyres or do I use the 23c on the chart here http://www.sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html which indicates I can use pretty much any width tyre up to 50c...

    Huge thanks in advance!

    Yes.

    No.

The left hand column of the table is the width inside the rim. Or "Rim width (interior)" as it is titled.
