Nice meeting you!
Good chat, good ride.

Highly unlikely to be 'on here' but I saw a Fixed gear Fuji being walked back from ride london earlier. It had flat plastic pedals without straps and brakes fitted front and rear. The saddle angle made it the most anti fixed gear I've ever seen and it was disheartening to see :(

Sorry about that, I'd been awake for all of 10 minutes at that point!

Sounds somewhat "ordinary" rather than "most anti"..?
(I mean, if you're going to ride fixed with no foot retention then surely 2 brakes is the thing to do, and saddle angle is just saddle angle, personal preference and easily changed.) -

My fixed wheel has always had two brakes even with foot retention, and it is a comfortable and enjoyable mofo as a result.

He was probably there to mock people who measure their annual holiday entitlement in days rather than months.

Ha. I like it on a Sunday, I can pretend I'm in Manhattan but all the humans have gone.
I made the mistake of going during the week last week as well, at lunchtime nonetheless, because I needed to get on the Jubilee line with my Brompton after walking around the river. Should have gone to North Greenwich, it was hell.

Not 100% sure but I think we spotted an LFGSS jersey on Old Kent Road coming up to Bricklayers? Rider was blasting on a blue Genesis.

Easy cuz! Lovely to see the Talbot out on the road. Pink bike badboys represent.
Was that the LFGSS organised morning laps? First time I've been out of a morning on this iteration of the bike and I was loving life.
