That said the riders I am watching with the most interest are those who have just gone through CP2. Probably have another two weeks ahead of them. OK, they are getting more rest but to keep riding like that, alone, day after day after day, takes some mental and physical stamina.

He took that bike to get his takeaway at a place we occasionally meet. It is very good for that as well.

Third place could come down to choice of route over the final segment.
