I'm looking to take my Fratello touring again but last time I did I had a slight wobble and there was a massive crunch and the pioggia carbon forks split in half:

Rode the last couple of days in Italy with a gaffa-taped fork. So! looking to swap the carbon for a steel fork. Condor do one but it's £110 which is a lot for a piece of generic black steel with a logo on it. Does anyone know of any alternatives? Or does the wide crown requirement limit me to Condor's own? It would be ace to get 'em in chrome. Thanks
