Never really bothered with LBC, but due to term time at work and being able to go in late have found myself tuning into BBC London for the last 3/4 weeks. It's amusing hearing the same callers every fucking night like Joy from Streatham, Bill from Borough, Colin in Harrow etc. It got too much on Sunday night when Corrinne from Islington essentially rang up to 'have a chat' about her daughter not being able to get off a train going from Kings Cross to Lincoln because she didn't know you had to open the window and pull the handle on slightly older trains. She dragged this out for a good 15 minutes.
Welp

My experience of LBC is in the boss's van in the morning. From what I've heard it's just a spoken word version of the daily fail. Nasty.
It's xfm or og helta skelta/andy c rave tapes in my truck. Far more soothing than someone raging to Nick Ferrari about forruns and nonces at 7am..
Presumably other shows on there are more palatable?

£1 please...
LBC Radio, formerly "Londons Biggest Conversation" now "Leading Britain's Conversation" after the change to DAB.
Just throwing it out there as I suppose LBC is still lufguss's local chat radio show, is there anyone else on here listening?
I'm lucky in that I can listen to headphones at work so I'm usually locked in to LBC all day, listening, learning and trying to form an opinion on the world.
Anyways, was anyone tuned into James O'Brien's show today? Particularly the last hour, which I admit I didn't quite manage to hold it together through.
