  • And stay away from polarised if you can. In my view they are a total scam. Useful if you are a fisherman and want to be able to see things under water from the bankside. Otherwise they are useless, more expensive and can prevent you from seeing some types of LCD screens.

    For changing lght conditions, photo chronic lenses are great. I love them for summer evening rides, our in the sunshine home in the dark, without ever changing glasses.

  • I have used the Oakley polarised lens for a while now, mainly for the odd times when the sun shines on wet roads. Then they cut out loads of glare, which is otherwise impossible to see through. They also have a good depth of field enhancement on brightish overcast days, which I hadn't expected but yep, LCD screens are incompatible.
