Bamboo innit. So they have to reinforce the junctions.

Ah, maybe don't make bikes out of bamboo if they look like that.

picked this up at the weekend.
norco city glide with a 2 speed sram automatix rear coaster hub. 700c wheels and plenty of clearance for wide tyres and guards.
so far i've removed the levers and calipers, stuck a wald 137 on the front, and just bombed around on it at every opportunity!
going to change the seat and grips but i've not decided what to go with yet...
also change the front chainring bashguard thing as it looks a bit shit.
dead pleased with the way it rides! big grins!

Looks very clean.
I know it sounds a bit boring, but I really wouldn't rely on a coaster hub as your only form of braking. Maybe if you were just using it to cruise up and down a beach front.
Brake cables also help a bit to hold the handle bars so the basket doesn't swing (or swing as hard) into the top tube.

I done a 650b on a Croix de Fer. More stuff to come, but this is "it" for the next month or so :)

Anyone using Bikepack.pl bags? Need to decide on size (want to try bikepacking) and just wondering if anyone has any pics regarding size?

@CogSucker @eone @dst Thanks guys! Hard to go wrong with all-black components, but I'm really happy with it. Rides very nicely too!

Dear functional types,
Help apprieted -I've cross-posted this a bit and whilst it might not be a totally natural fit for this thread, it may lead to an awesome functional bike!
Spa Cycles: I'm interested in their steel tourer spacycles.co.uk/products.php?plid=m2b0s143p2984
I would normally have a 56cm top tube on my bikes, thus meaning I'd be looking at the 51cm sizing (their sizing), however spa suggested I'd need at least the 54 or 57 sized bikes, giving me a 58 or 60cm VTT.
Am I just being stupid or do spa have strange sizing ideas?
For reference, I'm 179cm and have a 56cm supersix and genesis equilibrium which are both a great fit.
Alternatively, any other non-disc touring frames people would recommend? (With a 132.5 rear spacing, F + R rack mounts and canti studs)

I just got a seat pack, but haven't tried it yet. Got the big one and it seems... well, pretty big.
Stitches and quality looks good.
