The Uvex ones. Cheers.
The tinted lenses on my cheapo glasses are awful so I'm in the market for a decent set. I was going to pony up for Oakley, but those are good for the price and with the photochromatic lenses I guess I wouldn't need to change the lenses.
Still if I can find an OK deal on Oakleys that come with the photochromatic lenses fitted I might go with those.

BTW, it is photochromic, not photo chromatic

^Cheers - I keep getting it wrong.
Just tried on a pair of Radars, and the bottom of the lenses seemed pretty high and I could see the bottom edge. So I'm guessing they were path. Has anyone else found this?
Are the range the lowest / deepest lens?
... this seems to say so.

Think you can get Range XL as well.
-
• #457
Range XL has a 7mm taller lens, apparently.

Had some Adidas Gazelle sunglasses since '04 and they're in good shape except the rubber nose bridge has perished in storage. My google-fu not much help on how easy to pick up replacement part in the UK, obv next stop lfgss... anyone had/got some, if so are they a stock item found on new fangled adidas shades?

Are all radars the same size? Are they any good for small round faces? Which is the best fit?
-
• #461
They probably do an Asian fit for small faces. Path is the smallest lens size I believe.

I grabbed a cheapish pair of black and white fingerprint patten frogskins.
Only tried them on briefly last night, but they appear most nice.
Weird pink softbag though, not sure I like.

I have some never used black oakley jawbones, won in a competition a couple of years back, come with two sets of lenses, soft pouch and carry case, can't use 'em as prescription lenses are a ballache and cost too much.
Yours for a £100 photo's on request.. -

What are they like on the bike? And when slightly sweaty? My raybans hardly stay on my face!

Uvex Sportstyle 202 Variomatic Cycling Glasses
I bought a pair in the end for my ride to Santiago d/c off the back of your advice. They really were excellent (and economic) - thanks for the recommendation!
I went for the white and black ones by accident and they actually look pretty good (in a sports glasses way rather than 'slaning on Brick Ln). I think the green and white ones would also look decent IRL.

Just emailed you some photos, have dark and yellow iridescent lenses...

You'll get shot by a dentist wear them mate.
Are there any clear cycling glasses for riding at night that aren't "race" style? i.e. don't look like I'm about to do a tour stage.

I've been wearing the Assos Zegho (Werksmannschaft) for a couple of months and they're excellent.
Their clear version (Zegho Crystal) looks quite nice and not too pro/Euro.
Probably not great for hiding your coke habit though.

I'm in the market for some new sunnies after noticing that my ancient Oakleys (must be 12 years old) make it very difficult to see the road ahead if you're in light and the road is in shade and vice versa. What am I looking for in terms of tech to deal with that? Polarized lenses?
Also, I wear a Kask K50 and have read that the cradle of the helmet can interfere with glasses...
Off to the Alps next week and don't fancy not being able to see properly on descents!

The new Prizm lens from Oakley is meant to be awesome.

Have you contacted Oakley about changing the lenses? I don't know what you they're like now, but they used to have very good customer service.
Otherwise if you're on a budget I'd recommend those Uvex ones up thread. I've worn them from 6am through to grey skys with pouring rain and bright sunshine.
For which?
The uvex lenses are fixed in. But they do non photocomatic lens.
The Oakley you can buy photocromatic but they're more than the uvex glasses!
