I only came across 2 sets of tandem TA pro cranks,
and both had the unusual sized threads,
I'm glad they stopped at some point,
it's really puzzling.If you want to change the rings/bolts,
they are still manufactured :

Not necessarily. I had a tandem ta chainset with English pedal threads and all 3 ta chainsets I have at the moment are as well.
The crank puller is essential kit tho. If you can find an original TA multitool they're damn handy for the chainring bolts. TA peanut butter spanner is also the best fit for the crank bolts as sockets tend to be worryingly snug against the extractor threads.
