To strip down the crankset ,
TA I believe,
you'll need a specific crank puller,
this one:

threads needs to me modified as well. -

Not necessarily. I had a tandem ta chainset with English pedal threads and all 3 ta chainsets I have at the moment are as well.
The crank puller is essential kit tho. If you can find an original TA multitool they're damn handy for the chainring bolts. TA peanut butter spanner is also the best fit for the crank bolts as sockets tend to be worryingly snug against the extractor threads. -

One thing I will say is hoard all the ta parts you come across- axles, bb cups, bolts etc.
They command high prices online so hit the jumbles and get everything you see!
That's assuming you want to run ta bb's of course -

There's a pic on page 8 of the tandems thread, mines in no where near as good nic as yours though.
Any information on age or anything anecdotal ? I'd love to know something about these bikes! -

I only came across 2 sets of tandem TA pro cranks,
and both had the unusual sized threads,
I'm glad they stopped at some point,
it's really puzzling. If you want to change the rings/bolts,
they are still manufactured :
