• As someone who doesn't follow sport or racing of any kind, this has kept me riveted. You've been completely awe-inspiring!

What kind of support do you need? (Sorry for the daft question)

  • Thanks that's kind!

Sponsors of bikes stuff really. Maybe getting to races money too.

Next year I go back to uni full time to study civil engineering so if I want to train properly and study I will struggle to work to earn enough money. I can fund myself and will, but it will mean sacrifices on training time to work, as studying won't get sacrificed this time.

I want to have a go at a 24h tt next year for experience, give hippy some competition and try a few mtb adventure races in experience for doing tour divide in future. If they go well then I'd like to try RAAM in a few years time if people believe in me. I believe in me now.

Pretty sure everyone here would agree that we do too!

  • In the absence of proper sponsors, I'm sure you could get some support through crowd funding from your LFGSS fan club.

  • Blown away by your ride James - you're the same age as my eldest son and I mentioned your ride to him last night. Rendered him speechless for the rest of the evening, which isn't such a bad thing.

I could be interested in some sponsorship though my company - nothing bike related but if some simple sponsorship cash is something that might help then we should talk.....
