Looks like a 2 hour time gap now for Skinny.
-
• #778
From now on I will take this picture with me on long rides so I look at it and when I start feeling sorry for myself.

Lee Pearce has arrived.
-
• #781
There could be a few of them there soon as the other three ferry boys, including our fixed friend, are all converging.
-
• #782
Emily was 2 miles away from the leading team,
but needed some food ,
so stopped at a petrol station. -
• #783
Some interesting routing from Lee Pearce, he seems to be heading the wrong way.
-
• #784
Just doing a little loop. After all it is already night there.
-
• #785
I assume it isn't possible within the rules to do Istanbul then vukovar?
-
• #786
Don't think so. My guess is that Lee is going North/NEN for the flatter terrain in Serbia to get to Vukovar.

Skinny transmitting again (there was a 45 min gap). He's near the base of the climb to CP4.
3h10 behind Josh, and it took him 1h20 to do the climb.
Josh left CP4 35 minutes ago.

Wooo...

Back to Kotor for Skinny, sleep in Kotor and do the climb in the early light after a rest rather than getting to the control at ~1am and then having another 13km to the suggested hotel? Dunno, it may just be a double back for a caffeine hit, will see in a bit.
-
• #790
Yep, Skinny's off towards CP4 now.
-
• #791
Still in Kotor, although looks like he's doing some extra sightseeing round the coast of the bay...
-
• #793
Pedal, pedal pedal. You are nearly there!
-
• #794
Think now. Use your head.
You probably nearly climbed Everest today. No wonder it is floppy ;-) -
• #796
The man is a total hero.
-
• #798
This is his first attempt? Very impressed.

Skinny, you are doing an absolutely brilliant ride. Take your time with any decisions you have to make, you have a lot of support following your dot. Keep safe,
Lee Pearce on the climb to CP4. Looks gruelling.
