So back to the topic of shonky service. Our club uses bioracer and frankly their quality and prices are now uterly shite. 110 quid for a winter jacket with the logo psw right over a stitched pocket fold.pink arms that should of been white and then nearly 6 months to get a refund. Complained to ken the uk rep and local guy and he ignored it . Asked chris he wasnt arsed either . So what does that tell you about a company now supplying most of the uk's cycling clubs. Bioracer poor service . Sizes finishing, returns . So not just rapha.
What are miltag like?

I think three is fair, especially during busy times but once it gets beyond that, it's pretty poor service, especially when they've got my money.

From what I recall the summer sale takes place soon. Lots of other retailers are advertising summer clearances now...

I wore merino base layer with merino jersey and brevet gilet when really cold.

Tall slim people - Medium Gabba?
-
• #21583
Yeah, I wear a small mk1 gabba and its a good fit. Reckon medium should do you.

Yeah

Some people receive bad service because they're assholes with entitlement issues.

Shame to hear that, I got a Bioracer top last year and it is great. My miltag jersey from a bulk order is also nice but got overlooked or something so took appx 4 mths to arrive.
I think it's not just something affecting road kit producers, i've had a long wait on 5 BMX jerseys as the guy who makes them is simply swamped with orders full time.
Good time to get into the market place for a new jersey company perhaps...?

Re jackets Softshell convert here but I ride quite gentle on commute, is Gabba better for people hammering it more?

More or less.

Medium Gabba inbound, shall see what the fuss is about.

And the Nanoflex arm-warmers, right? I mean, one without the other would be pure craziness. The Nanotech 3/4 bib knickers are pretty good too...

David Millar has launched his range with Castelli http://www.chpt3.com/

Pretty down to earth, I'm sure if you enquired they'd meet you, show you what they can do etc. but they are a small company, you won't get wiggle/chain reaction service. I really like the kit, the new pro range is rather tasty (not online yet) and from what I've seen they'd do a good job on the design front. The FHHV kit is nice. I wanted my club to switch but alas we are stuck with our average kit..

Still on the fence over here.
What sort of temps are you guys getting down to with the Gabbas ? (with lets say a long sleeve merino base layer)
-
• #21596
Did a couple of rides in freezing sleet that were down to -2 or 3 in parts and very wet and was absoultely fine. Which was more than could be said for my hands and feet.

Had the arm-warmers for ages, hence bought the short sleeve Gabba.
I then bought some random stuff in honour of Pifko and sent it to random locations around the world.

For the tall and skinny I presume

Any particular reason people aren't buying the gabba convertible jacket over LS / SS versions? Just cost?

The new Typographic Disaster range by David 'jesus' Millar. Can't wait to see that in the sale.
I wore my Rapha softshell precisely once this winter, and spent the whole time wishing I'd put my Gabba on instead.
