i bailed on saving up for my nomos metro and went for this. i now almost have the whole collection of max bills - just need a grey something and it's complete!

surprised at how noisy the movement is and you can really feel the rotor spin but it has a reassuring quality to it i think, thinking of fitting a black strap though - will go through my toolbox tonight and have a play.
Nomos metro is still on the cards but it will have to wait till i reshuffle some other watches

Dammit, how are you getting on with aligning the hands? I've heard people have problems with this but would be good to hear the GMT aspect is accurate and straightforward.

I quite like the Straton Vintage Driver Chrono on Kickstarter. Seiko VK63 quartz movement, bit large for my taste (and wrist) at 50 mm lug to lug. I still may end up getting one in black without date window.
