i bailed on saving up for my nomos metro and went for this. i now almost have the whole collection of max bills - just need a grey something and it's complete!
surprised at how noisy the movement is and you can really feel the rotor spin but it has a reassuring quality to it i think, thinking of fitting a black strap though - will go through my toolbox tonight and have a play.
Nomos metro is still on the cards but it will have to wait till i reshuffle some other watches -

I quite like the Straton Vintage Driver Chrono on Kickstarter. Seiko VK63 quartz movement, bit large for my taste (and wrist) at 50 mm lug to lug. I still may end up getting one in black without date window.
I used to have a parnis dress watch that I got for £35 delivered. It was OK.
