I know some would argue, but if you sign up for ultra stuff, this is pretty accurate. :)

I've seen some daft looking contraptions to deal with Shermer's Neck (there were a few sufferers on LEL and PBP) but all of the ones that look like nasty plumbing constructions just look dreadful, a foam neck collar looks better but I don't know how much it would affect breathing and drinking on the move.

Surely just a chin rest between the aero bars would resolve this, rather than something that looks like it's been pulled out of a Victorian corset/lamp-shade?

Just seen the climb to CP4. Must be beautiful but you could get dizzy in those zigzags.

Back in the day, when the diagnosis got called Shermer's Neck after RAAM legend Mike Shermer, he had his head held up with duct tape, a pringles can and IIRC some bent coathangers. @skinny need pringles and a trip to the drycleaners.

I'm not certain but I think this photo was taken from near CP4... Lee Pearce is currently riding through the town just above the peoples' heads...
