Was it border control or did he just stop for refuel or something?
Google satellite view looks very much like a border control station to me, could easily be wrong though.
[EDIT] Yes, more likely to be a petrol station as I just checked up the road (past where Google Maps thinks the border is) and saw the much bigger stuff by the river.
No streetview in FYROM.

There was a bit of a delay for Josh at the border (25 min or so), might be faster for subsequent riders if the border control get used to the mad cyclists coming through.
