  • Sounds like my fat hands should lose weight or size up ...

  • I'm quite loving my 'aerosuit' for general chopper action. More comfortable and no less practical than jersey+bibs.

It looks pretty dorky in certain circumstances (though not as bad as Castelli). I'm totally sold on faux-skinsuits.

  • Anyone want grey 32" touring shorts, BNWT? £50.

  • any opinion about the knee warmers? Merino or usual ones? love the merino arm warmers and thinking about getting the merino knee warmers, on the other hand, the usual ones seem to be a little more "robust" in bad weather.
btw. same thought about the leg warmers ;)

  • Much as I was against getting any Sky branded kit I was given as a present a Sky Rapha Spray jacket - it's a thing of beauty!

  • Merino knee warmers are ace, so comfy...I've only worn mine a couple of times as they're new, but very happy so far!

  • If the current spray jacket is as good as the 2014 model, it's truly an amazing piece of kit.

  • Fuck no, I bought Nanoflex and they're really quite uncomfortable. The seams are bad.

  • Haven't heard anyone else complain about 'em, mine are lush.

  • The merino arm/knee warmers are a class act.

  • They say the same thing about you.

  • Disappointed with the new Rapha cap! not a fan of one size fits all and the visor isn't as compliant, not as good as the old model, back it goes :/

  • Yeah. the old sized version is better (at least for my small head). They were selling them off on via eBay recently so stocked up.

  • Gutted I only got one in my size, didn't know how good they were at the time.

  • Anyone off to the outlet store anytime soon? Any chance to pick me up spray jacket in m?

  • get the arm warmers, nice ones, but i do not like the idea mixing up things.

  • thanks. love my arm warmers as well, just thinking about if they work in bad weather / wet as well.

  • Is it just my repeated bad luck or is Rapha's quality control and customer service absolutely shocking these days?
90% of our orders over the last couple of years have been either defective (frequently) or incorrectly sized (sometimes) with actual measurements not matching the size ordered (have been buying stuff for 9 years, so have a fix on the vagaries of ordering the right size, depending on the product)
Emails require chasing up to get a reply. Refunds need chivvying along.
Most recent order both items were faulty (GT Shoes and Jersey) Still waiting a reply. Back in the day service was much better, although even then we had to endure some "Rapha staff attitude" on more than one occasion. Other times service has been exemplary. These days it seems to be a complete bagosh1te.
As much as we like some of the products, we no longer recommend to friends and order far less kit as a result.
Repeated bad luck or is this the norm?

  • Dunno, though I wanted to check out the new Rucksack, and am sure they've either sent me a returned (unfaulty) item or it's been sitting on a factory floor for weeks before packing - it was in a really shit condition.

  • I had to return defective winter tights, classic bibs, baselayer & some socks which is about a third of my total rapha purchases.

They were quite good with returns though. I got to wear the winter tights all through winter and then returned them for a full refund in the spring.

  • What was defective?

  • Why does @Not_The_Dude refer to themselves in the plural. Are they the Queen?

  • Rapha refunded three of the items I sent back but not the fourth that was in the same package and are taking far too long to reply to my email about the missing refund for my liking.

I'd say standards are slipping because I've had nothing but exemplary customer service in the past and this just seems sloppy and lazy.

Premium products at premium prices require premium customer service.
