  • Really like the paint job on that.

  • Here's my Serotta Ti, which looks strikingly similar to the above GT ;)

  • ^ and exactly where i got the idea from! hehe, am actually thinking of changing the white to glossy purple

  • Theres an a-head Grammo just come up on the classifieds, which looks like a good length for you. pricey, mind.

Loving the Serotta. I tried desperately to persuade someone in the US selling one of those frames to post to me. always a bit gutted he wasn't up for it. Dunno how they ride but they look great.
As good as the full Ti/stealth crabons builds are, I do like a well executed part-paint job on Ti and SS frames.

    GT's looking great.

  • ENO's still need a bit of adjustment to get right, also not sure on their durability, the better option seems to be paragon rocker dropouts, and then that gives me adjustability and reliability..

  • @cornelius_blackfoot

Eh?! You do know I used one exclusively on my Moots (and still have it)? It gave me ZERO problems. The adjustment is piss easy. The only thing considered to be an issue is the proprietary splined cogs but then I think you can use threaded which I just didn't want to do.

  • Some people find painted Ti distasteful

They do? Crazy. I'd love to hear what they thought of my Chip Race 325.

  • The only thing considered to be an issue is the proprietary splined cogs

Issue? These are Tester Approved (tm). Just threadlock ya lockring and you are good to go.

Ok, they aren't cheap, but they are excellent.

  • You bought a brush & dustpan to match your bike!

Or was it the other way around...

  • You bought a brush & dustpan to match your bike!

They are the premium Parktools BRS1 and DST2*, ya know.

    * I may be making this up

  • Chip Race looks gorgeous.

  • They do? Crazy. I'd love to hear what they thought of my Chip Race 325.

    WANK

Ok, they aren't cheap, but they are excellent.

I had the first one [splined eno] on these shores...I know how great they are but it does mean buying rings from one source, they control the prices and direction.
An example of where it can go awry: I also have the level hub and in recent years they just decided to make the rings from alu instead of steel. I guess it's a cost thing but as they're proprietary there's nothing you can do with no alternate market.

  • Was out with pretorius today.

    This bike is ridiculously stunning:

  • Didn't see this tread till now.
I've just picked up my first titanium bike.
Still in progress, but here is what I have so far..

With ti headset, ti seatpost and ti stem.

  • Just a ti saddle away from porn!

  • Damn!! ThatThat looks great!

  • My girlfriends Merlin, the day before she rode the Mallorca 312

  • that is bloody lovely, where did you find it?

  • The frame used to belong to a Chinese cyclist, Jiang Cui Hua. She's famous for competing in the track time trial at the 2000 Summer Olympics where she won a bronze medal. She's also infamous for crashing into Jennie Reed during the 2004 UCI Track Cycling World Championships http://www.usacycling.org/reed-advances-in-womens-sprint.htm

the frame somehow end up into my friend's collection, i just forced him to let it go! ha.

  • Awful photo, but this is my Lynskey, which I love.

  • What frame is that? It looks remarkably like my Raleigh Special Products (but a bigger size):
