I'd be tempted to try to get the left hand arm from that Ultegra tandem crankset, and pair that with two standard 6800 cranksets*, running the 6870 mid-cage rear mech on a long hanger (if needed) to run an 11-42 cassette.
I'd then use Ultegra Di2 throughout the drive train, with a belt on the NDS, and probably take advantage of both sprint shifters and a pave shifter up front.
