  • Out again! =/

  • Such disappoint last year
    Such happy this year :)

  • 3rd time unlucky!

  • In again. Hoping for much, much, much less rain than last year...

  • In! Second time lucky.

I'm on holiday in the USA for the first 2 weeks of July, which will mean I'll be a bit fatter and slower than I would have been.

  • I'm still not sure if I'm in under normal entry or not, but already have a charity place, so if im double booked, ill put it up here first.
It has to be drier than last year though

  • Pretty sure you can't transfer your ballot entry to someone else, if you were successful in getting a place.

  • If anyone around Oxford fancies some training rides, let me know. Got a friend here who also secured a place in the ballot. Will be back on the bike in a few weeks. Thinking Oxford to Brighton or to the top of the Cotswolds then down through the length of them to Bristol (which I did before and was lovely, although started Sunday midday, which wasn't so smart). Both about 100 miles.

  • No luck for me, I blame those 71,999,999 other people...

  • Anyone want to swap a medium comiserations jersey for a large?
    I have a large.
    I need medium.

  • I applied yesterday to ride for British Forces Foundation. Got accepted within 5 mins, not too ludicrous entry costs either

  • Dibs of offering (and if I have a working bike)

  • What time are the roads shut?

    Anybody fancy a 4AM start?

  • At the risk of being annoying - when would be the best time to 'gatecrash' this to avoid the race/ but also the biggest groups of people.
Does anyone know the road closure timings?

  • It starts in 'waves' so its a steady stream of peoples, met some Hackney guys at the Velodrome who joined at Bow flyunder last year, didnt have any problems at foodstops and they collected medals!!!!

  • Hey guys and gals, does anyone have a spare ticket for this by any chance? Would be awesome. Cheers

  • anyone ?

  • I believe places aren't transferable unfortunately!

  • jump the non existent fence

  • Ummm you can easily ride under someone else's name. But yeah, might just jump the imaginary fence, especially that it passes right outside my house

  • I guess as long as the person whose place it is goes to get the registration pack there is nothing stopping you put their number on your bike.

  • Registration for 2016 now open...
