You want someone else to tell you what your tattoo means?

I guy on the plane saw me reading The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich and thought the lightening bolt on my wrist was some nazi shit. I wouldn't worry about it, nazi shit happens

Ha, no, but I don't want to come up with a fancy symbol, only to realize that it already means something...
Copyright infringement and so on... ;)

Did you put him straight and tell him it's just because you're a Harry Potter super-fan?

its a tattoo, not a 4C-digital print. it is a hand craft and we tattooers are no robots.
give it 2-3 month after healing to let the pigment settle into the skin and you be all good. -

is anyone going to the london tattoo convention in september
http://www.thelondontattooconvention.com/anyone know whether it's worth trying to get a booking to get a tattoo at the time? Have an idea for a piece on my calf, which is a mixture of styles, though have no idea how long it would take...
-
• #10190
unless it is someone that will only be in the country that one day i would not do it at a convention
-
• #10191
I have emailed Gakkin about a spot when he's there, if so I'm going, otherwise no. Last time I went I managed to spend quite a bit of money on tshirts and prints.
-
• #10192
But yeah, worth it to get tattoo'd by someone you're a fan of if you otherwise wouldn't get a chance to.
-
• #10193
I got my 1st tattoo at the LTC a few years back, just a walk up with a random artist. If its someone specific you want, email them to book a spot. If ita bigger than palm sized, i wouldn't bother with the convention for a piece.

Want a coloured pineapple tattoo - where good in London?
I also want a Tattoo of a Lobster dressed up as a Mexican with Sombrero and Maracas - anyone got a good example of something similar? Wan Tattooer kind of style.

^ check out deno from seven doors for that lobster tattoo you want. I reackon he would kill that. Might be a little pricey but then again good works not cheap and cheap works not good.

Deno is fucking awesome. I keep trying to get tattoo'd by him.

Has Gakkin left Harizan-mai in Kyoto? I only see Gotch listed on the site now. I'm hoping to go back to them and get my calf tattoo finished off when in Japan again next year.
-
• #10199
I'm not too sure but I know gakkin is travelling around for a while.

Ah, yeah, that makes sense.
Josh Sutterby and Pastiliam are in London right around the time I definitely won't have any money, gutted
