I rode 330km last week, with 3,400m of climbing - albeit over several days.
Last week was, however, far from the norm.
I'm starting at 6am again this year, and I suspect that my only hope of a good time is becoming the most aerodynamic person in the history of cycling.
In reality I'll be aiming to hold 250 watts for 5 hours, quite possibly whilst weeping.
